Chengs Doughnuts Logo

"There's something about the smell of fresh

doughnuts cooking, you can smell them from way off... the smell of vanilla...

It takes you back to trips to the seaside, playing in the sand... It's amazing how that smell can transport you back in time, back to your childhood..."

Recommended Providers

We attend a number of events and obviously come across lots of different food providers and entertainers etc. Occasionally however, we find another mobile food or drink provider or  particularly exciting or unique entertainers, where the people running the service are really friendly and approachable.

On this page, we are happy to highlight a small number of additional providers that we can personally recommend because we have met them at events and you may wish to consider having these at your event to make it a bit more special...

J. B & Brown

Jonathan Bailey and Susie Brown are an absolutely fantastic guitar and vocal duo, performing soul, swing rock and pop acoustic covers. We were blown away when we heard them. Go to their website and you can hear tracks of them performing..

Wok 'n' Roll

Fantastic Chinese food from this mobile vendor. Great variety and something wonderfully different for any event.

The Top Bananas

This is a collective of stilt walking musicians, based in the South East of England. Guaranteed to be entertaining as really funny and different - typically British humour. Ideal for adults and families.

TFI Vegan Kiosk

Rob has launched a vegan mobile unit so you can enjoy exciting fast food, where no animals have been injured for your enjoyment.

Chengs Advertising

Our sister site. We offer cheap but effective event advertising materials such as full colour A5 flyers, outdoor PVC banners, entrance tickets and websites etc. Click on the link above to see services and prices.

Matts Generators

If you are organising an event and need to provide electricity in a field or other remote site, we fully recommend Matt who can provide the generators you need. Remember that if you are organising the event, then stalls will be happy to pay an additional amount for their pitch fee for the provision of a power supply. We have seen prices charged for an electric hook up around £20 or so. This means you can recoup the cost of providing the generators. This can be really helpful where stalls can not use their petrol generators because diesel has been stipulated by a Council for example. Matt is happy to talk over your requirements.
